Unlike traditional Spider Solitaire, Switch Spider Solitaire has only five tableau piles and allows players to build them up or down by rank. Cards can also be moved to the foundation as soon as they can be played, rather than waiting for the entire tableau to be assembled. The foundations are built up by suit starting from Ace. The game can be played with one, two, three, or all four suits, with increasing complexity as more suits are added.
The game offers smooth animations, unlimited undo, and the ability to save game states to play later. Additionally, players can view game statistics and select the number of suits they would like to play with.
